Presidential was founded in 2012 by Everett Smith, a former professional basketball player who'd just wrapped up his career overseas, and John Zapp, a seasoned entrepreneur from Oklahoma. The two met by chance at a convention in Las Vegas, and within three months, Smith had moved to California to launch the brand.
