Phat Panda launched in 2014 in Spokane Valley, Washington, founded by Robert and Katrina McKinley with a straightforward mission: produce exceptional cannabis at prices that don't punish your wallet. What started with 30 employees has grown into a 550+ person operation running out of a massive cultivation facility with over 40 flower rooms and 180+ strains in active rotation.
The Phat Panda family includes several product lines, all produced in-house: Grow Op Farms handles cultivation, Sticky Frog produces nug-run concentrates, Dabstract creates live resin and high-terpene extracts, and Hot Sugar turns their flower into edibles worth talking about. Their Panda Pen vapes and Bong Buddies pre-rolls round out a lineup that covers pretty much every way you'd want to enjoy cannabis.
Every batch goes through rigorous lab testing for pesticides, mold, mildew, microbials, fungicides, and heavy metals—often exceeding state requirements. Phat Panda's vertically integrated approach means they control quality from seed to sale, which is why their products deliver consistent potency and flavor batch after batch.
EMBR's partnership with Phat Panda brings this Washington-born quality to California and Massachusetts. As a vertically integrated operation ourselves, we appreciate brands that obsess over the details—and Phat Panda fits that bill.

Cannabis concentrates range from 60% to over 90% THC, significantly higher than typical flower. Start small and gauge your tolerance.
Live resin uses hydrocarbon solvents and flash-frozen cannabis, resulting in high potency and terpene retention. Live rosin is solventless—pressed from ice-water hash using only heat and pressure—offering a cleaner flavor with slightly lower THC.
Hash oil (or distillate) is refined THC oil produced through CO₂ extraction and distillation. It offers high potency with neutral flavor, making it ideal for vape cartridges and discreet use.
THC wax refers to concentrates with a waxy texture, similar to sugar, badder, and crumble. They're made through post-processing techniques and typically test 70%–90% THC. Easy to handle and great for dabbing.
Inhaled concentrates take effect within seconds and last 1–3 hours. Oral consumption (like RSO) has a slower onset but can last 6–8 hours.
Store concentrates in airtight containers in a cool, dark place. This prevents degradation and preserves terpenes and potency.
Yes. Solid concentrates require dab rigs, nectar collectors, or e-nails for use. Hash oil works with vape pens and cartridges. Our budtenders can recommend the ideal setup for your chosen concentrate.
